There are also many ways in which NPA China can assist your company in its China endeavors in the future. The association is not a static operation; the Beijing office is constantly meeting with officials and industry experts to find new solutions and ideas to place in front of the board of directors to enhance our collective efforts in China.

In order for change to take place in China's current regulatory environment, U.S. industry needs a focused powerful and consistent message. This message is being presented by NPA-China, its board of directors and the U.S. Department of Commerce.

Tier Level 1 (Board Member Seat)
Joining NPA China as a board of director will give your company a steering position in the association's activities, which will affect the industry in which you are conducting business. The players in China are a diverse group and all have different desires. Domestic enterprises and other foreign companies in many cases would like to see the market stay the same or progress in a different direction compared with what U.S. companies would like to see, so it is important to put your company in a position where it can voice its opinions and come to a consensus on all topics. U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Embassy in Beijing have made it very clear that those industries that succeed in regulatory advocacy in China all have one thing in common, an industry association that is able to present a clear and consistent message to Chinese regulators.

Tier Level 1 Membership Benefits:

• Elect the board of directors of Natural Products Association China
• Serve as directors or officers in Natural Products Association China, if duly elected in accordance with the association's bylaws
• Attend all meetings of the membership and vote on matters submitted to the membership

• Attend NPA-China's annual board meeting in Beijing (Normally held around November)
• Access to information and reports, other than board meeting notes

• Access to the Natural Products Association and United States Pharmacopeia's Chinese supplier ingredient testing program. Results from ingredients tested will be posted on NPA's U.S. based website for members to view

• Attend NPA-China's annual board meeting in Beijing (Normally held around November)
